DUO's perfectly fitting shoes

Our Autumn/Winter perfectly fitting shoe collection is now online. I must admit it was tough working on the range back in April when you’re looking forward to wearing flip flops and sexy sandals (even though we never actually got the chance to wear them this summer) but I think our designers have really come up trumps this year.

I’ve been pawing over Grazia and Marie Claire recently and the old ankle boot is as strong as ever. Who said last year that they were a flash in the pan? I’ve actually just placed my first order this lunchtime. It’s great to be able to find ankle boots for my narrow feet – normally they flop around making me look like I’ve the feet of a 6 year old girl in my mummy's high heels. NOT a good look.

I’m absolutely loving our ruched ankle boot Maya and can’t wait to wear them with my skinnies – I was shocked and stunned to discover the ruching is rather crafty in making legs look slimmer – good news for most of us, eh? I’m also really pleased there’s still some animal print around – I still think a killer pair of animal print pumps like Nicole look gorgeous with black cigarette pants and a fine black knit – très chic, oui?

There’s also some great colours to accessorise your festive outfits – red Ivy and burgundy Elkie would look great with warm autumnal colours. And we’ve some fab heels this year – I’m now saving up for either Holly or Elly – FINALLY a pair of stilettos that won’t slip off my feet! But which one fulfils my need the most? Hang on – since when did a girl NEED shoes? Hmm….. Could I find space in the wardrobe for Maggie? I really want to work that T-bar Mary Jane look this Autumn with black opaque tights and the cute knitted tunic I bought on Saturday – they’d be great for the office when it’s too warm to wear my Messina boots.

Well with all this pondering atleast I’ve figured out what to do next Saturday – trip to the charity shop, me thinks, to off load some old shoes. I need to make space on my side of the wardrobe!
